Hi,
If you try to sign in from an unfamiliar location or device, Yahoo may ask you to prove your identity by confirming a code. In this case, you can use your other recovery methods to recover your account, or try to sign in form an usual device and location.
In case you have enabled the account key, you can disable this option by accessing the Yahoo Mail app if you have access to it.
To start the recovery process in order to recover your account, use the Sign-in Helper.
