Can't Delete Contacts

I sent an email to my list and someone asked to be deleted. When I went to my contact list to delete them, they are not listed there. To check, I composed another email, and that person was there. Why are they not showing up in my contact list so they can be removed?

I've used both Firefox and Chrome. Same on both.

Same for me too. I deleted some contacts and they are still appear when you compose and click on TO. I added new contacts and they don't show. I added a new contact list. It shows in Contacts, but not in the TO of an email. They seem to be disconnected. When I click on TO, it shows a list of contacts and it says there are 100. But contacts on the far right has many less as I deleted some old ones.
