Disabling search on omnibox line

Hello,
This method did not work...
i then went and disabled several other omnibox options, but still chrome links the search bar to the address bar.

System Configuration: Windows / Chrome 80.0.3987.87

There is nothing you can do about it. Chrome is made by google and google makes its money from searching for results. Use another browser.
