Hello, could you give some more information - what laptop model are you using? How long has this been an issue? Have you dropped your laptop recently?

I am using it from last 5 years.This happened from last 3 days.Laptop might be dropped with bag in office when I am not at desk.

Can you see the same trace when you turn the brightness all the way off?

When I power on laptop it appears.It is inside display.

Ok, and finally, what model / mark is your laptop?

If its software related, you will want to install the latest display drivers.

However, if it is a hardware issue (there is a 'crack' / permanent line) on your laptop screen, would probably require you to change the screen.

If moving the cable affects image on the screen in any way lines, or image. I can adjust the brightness with keyboard though
