Hello,
I had bought a SATA card with a 1000 GB to replace my IDE card of about 160 GB. I hoped it would be easy to replace the disk, but as I have put the SATA disk in the computer to format it, it is not even recognised as a disk.
it does not show that a disk is inserted. Can anyone tell me what I should do to make use of my SATA disk?
Thank you, any help would be appriciated.

Hye this is because you will need the sata driver for your motherboard! Then set your bios settings to sata mode!

Hello,
I opend the BIOS and the configurations still show of the old IDE stuff, so I just don't know how to begin with the bios and set it to SATA mode.
