Can't connect to the internet

My other laptop in the house will not let the browser connect to the internet. I have called Belkin to see if there was a problem with my router and they had me ping yahoo and google on the laptop where the browser will not connect and the pings came back fine.

They told me that it was a problem with the browser and we needed to contact the manufacuter for help as the interenet was working fine and the wireless router is working fine also. The laptop that is not working is a Dell Inspiron E1505

go to start > run and type cmd and press ok

then type ipconfig /renew and hit enter.

now try to enter the browser.

your problem should be fixed.
