Hello, I would try fully uninstalling and then reinstalling Fortnite.

Alternatively, I found this article with a number of other fixes.

Actually I uninstalled the game before asking this question, and now I'm redownloading it, and because my internet is slow, I have to wait about 2 days or so to try these solutions.
