Hello,
I was using windows vista earlier but because of a problem i had with its activation,i had to install a windows xp operating system to my hp compaq nc6000 notebook pc.On installation some files could not be copied so i had to skip those files and continue. After installation i could was having problems with the audio or sound drive but i later rectified it.But now i cannot connect to any Local Area Network connections because the broadcom netxtreme gigabit ethernet driver is not working properly.Due to this i cannot browse the net because my pc would not connect even if a network cable is plugged.Infact the cable is not even recognised when plugged,no sign is given about any external hardware connection. Pls help me i dont know what to do.
