Hello,
I used to have messenger without any Facebook account. Yesterday I decided to sign up in Facebook, using the same mobile number because I wanted to maintain my old messenger account. However, instead of merging the old and the new messenger, my old messenger got completely lost. I want to recover my old messages as they are really important for me. How can I? Please answer me as soon as possible.

Hi,
I'm afraid that your old Messenger account could be lost... You can try to sign in to the Messenger app or website using the same credentials you used with that old account, without going through Facebook.
