Hello,
Please i have sent a message to a friend on WhatsApp i saw the double tick showing that the message have arrived, but my friend told me he was offline and he received the message 3 hours later when he went online. But, i saw instantly that the message was delivered.
Is it possible, or he is not right?

This may happen due to network errors that have delayed the receipt of your message.

But que told me she was not connected all nigth long becose thé housse does not have wifi at all,but early in the morning at 4 am she red a message that i have sent at 3 am it was in blue ,how is tha possible if thé dont have internet and she cant use mobile data?

A dalay of 4hours? I was notified instantly that the message have been received but not yet opened, but she told me she received the message 4hours after in the morning when she when and use the free wifi of the supermarket...
How can she receive message notifications when she is offline? Is that possible?

There was an internet connection at some point to have been able to receive the message. Messages cannot be received without an internet connection.

Maybe your message was received when she connected to the internet, but the notification only appeared 4 hours later as notifications can work without internet.
