Hello, I am trying to upload a video to Instagram, but the file I want to upload is greyed out in my finder. JPG's are the only things that light up. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Add the .jpg extension to the file you want to upload and check

I got an error message on Instagram that only images can be posted. Thanks anyway.

You can only upload a maximum 60 seconds of video or else you have to use IGTV. And if that's not the issue then maybe the video format is different. You can check this for IGTV https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/381435875695118/?helpref=hc_fnav&bc=0
