Acer Laptop External Monitor Issue

I can not connect my second monitor(DELL) to my acer laptop. I am using VGA cable and VGA-Hdmi . I think it is related with the driver since the cable and the adaptor are working for my other laptop(Lenovo) fine. Please help find decision.

Hi,
Try the combination Fn + F4 to switch between your laptop screen and your external monitor.
If this doesn't work, turn off your laptop and connect the external monitor, then turn it on and try again the keys combination if the external monitor is still not detected.
Otherwise, try updating the video card drivers.
