My one Tb Transcend hard drive just stopped working. When I plugged it on my PC, it vibrate and the light indicator shows up but not recognized on the PC. It's also not in the list when I used the disk list on CMD console. I also tried disk management console and it's not part of the list.
Please any help Will be so grateful. Thank you

Hi,
It could be related to a driver issue. Open Device Manager, find and right-click on your hard drive's driver, then choose Update driver.
If you can't find the driver, or if the problem persists, go to View > Show hidden devices. If you see grayed-out drivers that are related to that hard drive, right-click on them, choose Uninstall and restart your PC.

Hi,
It seems like your hard drive is physically damaged as it is making noise and not detected in your PC. So, I would suggest you to take your drive to the drive repairing center.

Did you also try plugging the hard drive into another USB port... and with another PC... to see if the problem is still the same?
