How to recover an account scheduled for deletion?

I scheduled one of my Instagram accounts for deletion.
I want to undo this mistake.
When I enter my credentials, I get the option to "Keep Account".
On my laptop, Instagram.com: when I click on it, nothing happens except that the button darkens when I hold left click over it.
On a phone: when I click on it, it says: "Error An unknown network error has occurred."
The phone has wi-fi.
How do I undo this scheduled deletion?

In all honesty the article you sent me did not seem to directly address that specific issue. But your effort is appreciated : )
It turned out that whatever was going on with that "Keep Account" button was just a temporary error.
Perhaps it had something to do with Instagram still processing the delete account process.
