Hi,
I suggest you try to search for that email using the search box. If you can't find it, you can select next to the search box the drop down icon > Advanced options to add search criteria.
If you still can't find that email even in the trash, then it was probably permanently deleted from your email account, as the spam folder is automatically purged after a certain time.
