Hi,
Do you get an error message when the game crashes?
Does your PC meet the system requirements for the game?

Try disabling Data Execution Prevention as explained in this post. If that doesn't change anything, try running NFS in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, in case you're using a recent operating system.

In the example, they mention the game "The Sims", but the steps remain the same. You have to add the files with the .exe extension, that you will find in the folder where NFS is installed.
To help you, you can show the file extensions in File Explorer. For Windows 10 or 8, go to View and check File name extensions. For Windows 7, go to Tools > Folder options > View, uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and click Ok.
