Go pavilion go won’t power on

Hello,
HP pavilion go was unused for a long time. The light comes on at the plug in but goes out when the power button is pushed and will not come back on while the battery is installed. If you remove the battery and reinstall it the power light at the plug will come on when it’s plugged back in. The laptop will not power up at all. What do I need to do?

Hi,

Sounds like either a dead battery or your power cable could be malfunctioning. Have you considered taking the laptop to a service point so that they can give you a service diagnostic?
