WhatsApp last seen glich. Closed

Hello everyone, My whatsAap last seen is showing of 23 july. Although i didn't set it. My settings are always on default. It must show my today last seen time but it is showing 5 months back. Although i update my whatsaap last week.

All of my friends are trolling me that why i did so, but i am extremely confused that why is this happening with me. Can anyone here assist me in this concerm?

Hello,

I suggest you try the following. Go to Settings > Privacy and set Last seen and online to Nobody and do the same with the online status by selecting Same as last seen.

Close WhatsApp, then go to your phone's settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage and select Clear cache. After that, reopen WhatsApp and set your last seen and online status back to your previous settings (Everyone, My contacts, ...)
