Hi,
If you're using Basic Mail, some features will not work. To switch to the full-featured version, click Switch to the newest Yahoo Mail in the upper-right corner.
If you're not using the basic version, make sure your browser is up to date and that JavaScript is allowed. Try also clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If you're using extensions, turn them off and see it the issue persists.
