Voice note recorder

Hi,

In case you're sending your message directly from your voice recorder app, try looking in the app's settings if there's an option that allow you to remove that note.

Alternatively, try sending your voice note directly from your messaging app. Choose the option to add an attachment, then select your voice note by browsing your phone's folders. The note should no longer be included this way.

I don't see an option to remove that. I am sending the voice message directly from the app. I click on the mic at the bottom right hand corner and record the message but then that nag message shows uo that says "Voice note recorder" and the note is never included in the message, it stays on the screen.

I just sent a voice message by clicking on the mic at the bottom right hand corner and when i do that the note shows up as in the picture and after i release the mic the voice message gets sent but the note stays there until i touch the screen. A really pain in the neck, my phone doesn't really have to tell me i am sending a voice message LOL

Thanks for your precisions. The "Voice note recorder" popup should disappear instantly. If it gets stuck like you described means there's definitely an issue.

I suggest you try the following to try to fix it:

• Update WhatsApp to the latest version,
• Clear WhatsApp's cache (Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear cache),
• Close WhatsApp and restart your phone.

If the issue persists, back up your WhatsApp chats by opening the app and going to (3 dots) > Settings > Chats > Chat backup > Back up. Then, uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp.

The record shows "Our estimates show that WhatsApp has 2.7 billion monthly active users"

And i could be the only 1 who has this issue :(

Perhaps you're not the only person who's facing this issue... New bugs can take some time before being reported by users, and it can also happen that they go unnoticed if they don't really impact user's experience.

What you can do now is to try reporting your issue to WhatsApp. Go to the app's settings and choose Help > Contact us. Then, wait for future updates of WhatsApp as they may provide a fix.

By the way, people should post comments on your thread - or click on "Me too" - if they also notice the same issue as yours.

Soi i sent a message to whatsapp. Actually there is an option to send and email and explained the problem as i have here and included a screenshot and 2 minutes later i get this back from whatsapp and i really didn't expect any help from them anyway.

It's doing it on my tab s4 my s23 and s24 ultra but not on my s20 ultra 

Did you fix it ?
