Not Receiving Any Notifications for New Chats

I never get a notification when I receive a new WA chat. I open WA and I see "Archives" but nothing else. I want to see a notification that a new chat has arrived. A few months ago I DID receive notifications but no more.

If I tap on "Archives", then I see the new chat.

How can I see notifications rather than having them go directly to Archive???

WA is configured to display all notifications and I gave it all permissions. I'm using WA version 2.23.24.82.

Hi,

Unarchive the chat in order to receive notifications of new messages as before. Go to Archived, make a long press on the chat and select the unarchive icon.

Seems like the simpler the solution, the harder it is for me to find.
