Hi skeezix,
In the Privacy section, go to Blocked contacts. Select the name of the contact to unblock, then a pop-up will appear allowing you to unblock that person.
I don't want to unblock that contact, I want to make sure I don't get any more calls from it because I think that it's some kind of advertising company, or maybe spam.
I thought that by blocking it, I could do that, and if I unblock it, I leave myself open to more calls from that company.
But I'll unblock it anyways and see what happens.

Once the contact is blocked, it will no longer be able to contact you - you can leave it as is. But if you also receive calls and/or messages outside WhatsApp from that same contact, you should add it to your blocked numbers list in the phone app too.
