How to add a contact on WhatsApp

Hi,

To add a new contact on WhatsApp, go to Chats and search for their name or phone number in the search bar. Next, select Chat then press the 3 dots > Add to Contacts > Create New Contact. If you've already started a chat, simply open your discussion to create the contact.

If your contact doesn't have WhatsApp, you need to invite them to join the app first. Select Invite next to their phone number to send them an invite link.

Alternatively, you can add your contact directly from your phone's contact list and they'll appear in your WhatsApp contacts once sync. However, make sure to include the full international phone number if your contact is from another country.
