How to block camera interference while listening voice

Hello,

I have found an annoying feature in whatsapp which is not e.g. in telegram. When I listen to the voice message like when I am walking outside and want to put the phone on the pocket the playback is interrupted due to the contact on the camera lens scale. I verified this when I put my finger on top of the camera lens (without touching) and the voice play was interrupted.

This happens also when I do not have earplugs with me and want to listen the voice message clearly by placing the phone on my ears like in noisy traffic, but the above mentioned contact to camera lens interrupts this.

How to disable this annoying feature?
