stupid ipod nano (4th) Closed

Question

Hello,
my ipod nano 4th gen just will not turn on. I've did everything ,ive clicked the middle button/menu button tryed putting in on my computer but nothing works. No icon comes on at all and i cant do nothing on it.......please someone help me this s*** makes me really mad...........................

contact the shop from where you bought it as it may be faulty.

get it replaced.

if it one of the generics floating around, there is a small unlabled switch next to the usb plug and if it is slightly off, your locked out.  Move the switch with enough force to shift the case a bit and then try a new usb connection to any computer.  Mine quit working on my laptop's USB but picked right back up on my 
pc.  Did yours at least come with software in English?  Mine did not and with that many functions, it should!  Good luck.
