Cant Format Pen Drive Closed

Hello,
hiiiiiiii, i can not format my pen drive, i will try it using linux as well as Windows, plz give me an idea to format my pen drive.

first close all the applications running through pen drive,such as songs,pdf file,disk defragmentation etc. & then format it...if it is nt successful,then open the pen drive in winrar,& manually delete the autorun.inf file in the root of pen drive,safely remove it,and then re-insert it...IT WILL REALL YWORK FOR YOU,PLEAE ACKNOWLEDGE ME...
