CQ61 Bios issue

Hi,

Compaq Presario CQ61 laptop does not boot. I am getting the below error message. I have tried replacing the CMOS battery but the issue still persists.

Cheksum error

Press F1 to load CMOS default value

Press F10 to BIOS setup options.

unfortunately the F1 or F10 key does not respond. Hence unable to go to BIOS mode. But Alt, Ctrl, Del works but does not help. Would this be a motherboard issue?

If any of the members can help the next course of action that would be of great help.
