Hi,
If Facebook needs to verify your identity, you must provide a proof of identity in order to unlock your account. The step of confirming your identity is mandatory and can't be bypassed.
Visit this page to see the types of IDs that Facebook accepts as a proof. They accept government and non-government documents.
When you submit your ID, Facebook will review it and unlock your account once your identity is confirmed. Keep in mind that the review process may take a few days - see this article for more info.
