Too many annoying ads on Redmi Note 8, what to do?

My android phone, Redmi Note 8,  freezes and ads repeatedly appear forcefully.  Most of these ads are of  gambling and lottery games. 


I tried all possible ways to stop this. I turned off personalized ads. I turned off notifications for Google play Store. I tried all solutions suggested online but none worked. 


While typing this, I was interrupted no less than SIX times by irritating ads inviting me to play an online casino game!


I haven't given ANY permission to Getapps app. The ads seem to be coming from Google Play Store.


Please suggest an effective solution to this irritating problem. It's enough to drive anyone crazy!

Hi,

Try clearing Chrome's browsing data as those ads may be linked to websites you visited (and you accepted that they send you notifications). Select the 3 dots > Delete browsing data. Choose All time and press Delete data. Do the same with other browsers if necessary.

If the issue persists, review your recent installed apps. Go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps. Uninstall apps that you suspect to be responsible for showing you those ads, as well as apps you don't use or recognize. You can also download Malwarebytes if needed to scan your phone's storage for potential malware.
