Audio driver problem

Hello,
dear sir/mam
while i was uninstalling some obslete programes from my system using add remove programe, I accidently remove the sound driver. I dont know the type of motherboard on my pc.would u please suggest me which audio driver i shoud use and also the website for downloading the same. My machine is P4 with 2.26GHz processor.
