Ipod music problem

Hello,
i just got this ipod from my friend, she had already used it on her computer so i guess it got used to it but, she didnt want it anymore because she got the video ipod, and she gave it to me, i plugged it in today adn it showed up, and everything but when you click on music it goes to the library and you can't click on the songs their like faded away and you can't click on them how to i get my ipod to work on my computer?

Denis is right, any iPod manager would do. Some have more options then others so it's a good idea to check out his link!

hi,

you should choose to manage the iPod manually, then you will be able to manipulate the songs.

else you may sync the iPod to get new music to it.

but this will wipe out all the musics it contained before.
