Linux and Solaris systems ship with GRUB Boot Loader.
GRUB have ability to establish Multi Booting (From 1 to ...)
You can have many OS / Distro / Kernel in your system and easily select them in the boot time, such as:
DOS, Windows, Linux, Solaris, OpenSolaris, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD, DesktopBSD, PC-BSD, DesktopBSD, SCO Unixware and so on.
For Windows/Linux : Fist Install Windows in one Primary Partition, then install Linux to another Partition(Primary or Logical, Not difference)
