Sd card wont work on philips laptoplee

Hello,
just bought sd 4gb card and wont work in laptop not faulty slot cos got another card that does any ideas

4 gig is HDSD - high density sucure digital. If your system is older, it only reads older SD, up to 2 gigs. Buy a 2 gig card to get any joy :(

Sorry, I meant SDHC - Secure Digital High Capacity - but you get the idea...
