Hello,i need help.my acer extensa 5630ez wont turn on.i tried charging it for hours.it still wont turn on.when its plugged in, the battery led light turns on.i press the ON button, the light goes out for a while and goes back on.My Laptop wont turn on!.so, I tried to remove the charger, the light turns on.i press the button once nothing happens, I press it again and again, then the battery led light flashes.pls help me.i dont know whats wrong.tnx SY

Acer Spain Customer Service Reply: Send us your laptop.
So, first of all, I've made a copy of all my information in the HD.

If you're having the same problem try this:

Turn off the laptop
Disconect from AC adapter but don't remove the battery.
Wait about 5 houurs without touching it.
Try to power on the laptop.

That worked for me but it's not what I want, of course!

I'll mantain you informed!

If you send ur laptop back to acer , ask them what the problem was , I will be really interested to know . thanks

Hi all,
Acer Customer Service finally returned my lapto and it's working correctly.
In their report they say that have changed the motherboard, that's the only explanation that I have.
Hope that could be useful for you all.

Removed the Battery and before you place the battery back in place hold on the power button then put back the battery.. then charged it again

Hi,
Removed your battery and Hold Turn ON button (do not free it ) with a long time .. then take your laptop changer and Plug into your laptop and turn on the switch !!

No, no, no. I already said in the message, I tried that. However, I tried it again, and again. I tried it with and without battery, connected to power supply and disconnected. I tried it for 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 60 seconds and five minutes. I even opened up the computer and removed the CMOS battery, and that didn't solve the problem either. I also wrote Acer again and again, wasn't able to get an answer. I don't know about you guys, but the 420 euros that the laptop costed are for me an awesome lot of cash, an amount I cannot spend every day (not even every year!!!), and the laptop didn't even lasted a couple of months. And I don't have access to Acer support or anything like that in my country. That's why I'm so quickly nearing desperation.

Would appreciate any other tip.

the problem with my extensa is that it won't power on from hibernate or when u switch it off but it will restart and awaken from sleep mode ... so try keeping it in sleep mode

Hi,
I have a similar problem with Hair brand laptop. But this is not working for my laptop.
I removed power plug & battery too. Pressed power button for 30 sec and then plugged both battery and charger. But this wont work with Hair..

This laptop is PMs Laptop scheme, will be thankful for your help.
