My sound stoped working

Hello,
i was messing with my sound settings on my laptop for some reason i do not remember and all of a sudden i could not hear anything and i went to the sound icon and there was a red circle with an "x" by it and it says there's no audio output device installed. i need help!

hey there, all you need to do is that you go to device manager and you enable your your sound device or else check out sound and devices and you will be able to fix it dear
