Can i restore files after resetting laptop to

Hello, I had to reset my acer laptop to factory default because it would not start up at all. now i have lost all our family photos and music and i dont have any of it on disc. is there any way i can retrieve them or are they gone for good?

You can recover the files but you will have to use a software

Install the software and scan your hard drive for data loss
