Hello,
Each time I attempt to open ANY file that I have recently downloaded I am getting following message
service cannot be started either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it
So cannot run anything
I downloaded AVG. won't open
windows tuneup 2009. won't open
and so on it goes
It is a brand new PC
I installed: adobe C3 (must be safe)
Sony Vegas
Dhtml popup pro
open office
This message just appeared. I cannot download any windows update due to the same message.
I have been told that I have to wipe disk and re install using recovery disks. The PC shop wanted £60.00 to do this.
I really need to sort this so that I can start the Adobe web design course. That cost me an arm and a leg so if I can avoid paying to format disk it would be greatly appreciated.
I really hate vista

Hello,

Just restore your system, make sure to always update your antivirus and scan the whole system

System restore:

Press Start (Windows Logo) then type: rstrui in start search

You will get the System restore window,

Select a date when your computer was working fine,

Press Next,

Let the process to be done and Restart the Computer
