Voice on gmail

Hello,
i bought a webcam for my grandson we loaded to his computer, i have a built in cam and mic. When i bring up video chat we can see each other and I can hear him but he cannot hear me. I went into chat settings and test my mic and video and audio and all looks good.

hi there,

try to exchange your web cam with the one of your grandson,

if still the same problem then check if the drivers are installed

use driver cd provided with web cam from manufacturer.
