I can't connect my laptop to a monitor Closed

Hello,
I can't get my Toshiba laptop to connect to a monitor. I hooked up the connectors, pressed Fn + F5 (toggle monitor key) and no signal on the external monitor.  The laptop monitor works fine. Is there a driver for the connector that I need?  I recently reinstalled Windows XP pro on this laptop.  Thanks!

hi there,

go to properties> display setting

check if second monitor is enabled

if not then you need to download driver

use this link to download from official Toshiba website:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp?nav=Download

fill in the device model and series

then download required driver
