Hello,
i have a dell inspirion laptop with no one else on it...therefore i should be the ONLY user as well as ADMINISTRATOR. over the last year i have had to take it in to have it wiped out and reloaded b/c everytime i am immediately (as soon as i return home and hook up) put on a network w/o administrator privelges. i can tell with the switching users and also that i have Bit locker on it. Keep in mind that I have ZERO files on it. When I got the new PC I had absolutely no files transferred. When i look round on the pc it shows that I have XP x64, vista x64 and it at some point showed that i had an enterprise and ultimate acct???? i bought home premium.??? i am beyond frustration and have no more money left after 5 repairs and 2 pc. the bottom line- it keeps happening over and over. thank you

when booting windows

before entering password

press ctrl shift del X 2

enter administrator as username

password leave it blank

then press enter

once logged

go to control panel and see user account

make your account as administrator if it was set to limited
