Is there an adapter to hook up a Acer Monitor

Hello, I purchased an Acer monitor and discovered the plug does not fit anything on my Toshiba Tecra laptop. What adapter do I need?

Hello,

You will have to connect the Acer monitor using the VGA cable,

The VGA output from the tecra laptop is found at the back
