Acer aspire 4520 problem

Hello,i have an acer aspire 4520 laptop which i received on october of 2008. i have recently found out that my adaptor light is blinking when it is plugged directly into my computer and is making a funny buzzing sound. My computer would not turn on at all but when the adaptor piece is not plugged directly into the computer the light remains solid green on the adaptor. Also when the adaptor is plugged in to the computer the computer is not picking up the adaptor and is not charging

Its better you change the charger,

Please buy another one or your system can be damaged

acer aspire E14 is not turning on

Hello,
My acer aspire E14 is not turning on, I also tried plugging it - no use...it is not even indicating any light please help
Note - it has an inbuilt battery


Configuration: iPhone / Safari 9.0

My backlight has never been on for my Acer laptop, im wondering if this model does not have a backlight function, or what but i cant find anything online for this model. ive tried Fn+F9 already and that does nothing. its really hard to use my laptop in the dark because i cant see the keyboard at all. someone please help and let me know if theres a way i can turn the backlight on or does my laptop not even have a backlight? thanks
