You will need to buy a new motherboard what supports the core 2 duo.
These new motherboards have limited support for IDE hard drives and CD/DVD drives. You might only have two IDE ports to connect your old hardware. Then you will need to reinstall Windows and the NEW device drivers that your new motherboard needs.
