Ipod problem HELP!!!

Hello,
i havent used my ipod in a long time and when i try turn it on the apple logo comes on, but then a trouble shooting logo pops up and it says www.apple.com/support/ipod
but i still cant seem to find a working solution, any tips would be greatly appreciated
