My iPod shows the apple then shuts off

Hello,
When I turn on my IPOD, the apple comes on then it shuts down. Its fully charged! Can I fix this?
System Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

this happened to me and I just fixed it. first plug in your touch to the computer. then hold sleep and home buttons until it turns on and off and then the second the logo appears release the sleep button but keep holding the home button. this will get you into restore mode!

Make sure that you hold Home and Sleep (Top), once it shuts off and turns back on RELEASE Sleep (Top) and continue to hold home until it goes into restore mode. You will get the message that shows you need to connect to iTunes.
or do it while pluqqed into computer with itunes on screen

Hello,

My iPod turns on fine. My songs appear fine on it. But as soon as I click on play button, it starts acting weird. It does not play songs. When I try to forward the songs, it just resets itself.

I have tried everything possible but nothing seems to work. My iTunes does not detect my iPod. So, I cannot even reset it. And when I reset it manually, nothing happens. It just stays the same as before.

Please help!

Hey.

I have a crappy computer that kicks me off the internet. Therefore I cannot download itunes or anyother thing that takes too long. And I have my music on windows media player which the ipod doesn't work with. So can anyone tell me how I can put on songs/charge my ipod, etc with no itunes? P.S.~ I don't know much about the ipod, I just got mine.

Ok so last night my ipod battery died and when I woke up it had the red battery saying to connect and charge so I did that..... And when I turned it on the apple logo appeared the screen then got a little brighter then it just went black I went to turn it on again and it just keeps repeating on then auto off.... I rilly need help my ipod is my life... thanks for any help.

Seems that my computer is not detecting my Ipod.


I already setup the driver and everything but seems that it is not recognizing the Device.


What can be causing that ?

Hello,
one day when my ipod ran out of battery and I connected it to my computer but it didn't show up and it still charged so I connected it to my macbook and it showed up. The next day I spent $50 worth of songs on my computer but my ipod doesn't connect so I can't add them on and i'm afraid that if I uninstall itunes then that money will go to waste what can I do??

Please help, My iPod nano 7th generation doesn't turn on unless plugged in and then once it just flashes a white screen with apple logo on and off, it does this for 10-20 minutes and then turns on but once I unplug it, it just turns and doesn't turn on. Please help.
