My iPod shows the apple then shuts offSolved/Closed

Hello,
When I turn on my IPOD, the apple comes on then it shuts down. Its fully charged! Can I fix this?System Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

this happened to me and I just fixed it. first plug in your touch to the computer. then hold sleep and home buttons until it turns on and off and then the second the logo appears release the sleep button but keep holding the home button. this will get you into restore mode!

Put your ipod into DFU mode then restore it and it should be fine

ITS ALL ON HERE, THIS IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO AND ITS EASY NO NEED TO GO ANYWHERE, THIS SAVE MINE WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS FRIED

all you have to do is press the top button until it shuts completely off. Then you have to press the home button then it should turn on. you can also put it face down and step on the back of it and a white screen should appear then plug it up to I tunes and it should work from there

every time I turn in on it shuts off 
when I plug it into my computer it  turns on then shuts off 
that holding home and sleep doesnt work because it shuts offf too fast

hi,

try this.
1. turn your ipod into disk mode through https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201544
2. connect to your pc 
3. format ur ipod or restore settings in itunes.

haven't tried the restore but the format worked for me. :D
