Windows vista and xp

Hello,
i currently have a laptop that i use all the time that runs on vista, i want to buy a mini laptop for using at uni and whilst i am commuting every day, but all the mini laptops seem to run on xp. i was wondering if i will be albe to transfer my work and use both laptops for my work if i have it on the usb or if the different opporating systems will stop me ???
please help

hi there,

no need to worry

you can transfer all your files easily by any means you want

but for office works you need to have same versions on both machines

if you have office 2007 you must have same on the other one
