Local Drives not opening

Hello,
I have a desktop with PC 3.0 GHz , 160GB HDD ( 4 parts C,D,E,F), 1 GB RAM, DVD RW, all things are going smooth but suddenly D and E drive showing a message as I double click on both drives " Do you want to for mat it?"
Both drives (D, E) contained most important data, somebody help me to cure this problem.

Thanks to you to giving your help to me but links that you have provided are not use full I have downloaded the pc inspector's filerecovry but the software unable to recover data from local drives which are not opening. If you have any other trick or tact so please send i will highly be thankful for it.
