Help for Formate to REMOVABLE Disk Closed

Hello,
I get a message telling me Windows can't format this drive.Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive,and make sure that no window is displaying the contests of the drive . Then try formatting again.

hi there,

 if there are  software on the drive then you need to stop them

or if you have music files on it and media player is on or imesh or itunes or other media 

reader will try to load their playlist

close all these and try to format it
