Finger Print reader not working on Windows XP

Hello All,

I have recently purchased an HP DV4-1241 factory loaded with Windows Vista. Now I have downgraded it to XP and unable to search the Finger Print Reader "Digital Persona" application for it.

I tried installing few applications but no luck.

Please help. I had to fought installing other drivers as well though IDT sound sill not working.

this option is not supported

by xp operating system

thnks for the response. But XP supports Fingerprint reader. I have seen such laptops.
