Philips USB 2.0 mobile disk

Hello,
I have a PHILIPS USB 2.0 Mobile Disk, I want to use it via my Macintosh Powerbook G4, operating system OS X 10.4.11 I plugged it into the usb port but nothing happens. The mobile disk has an "on off" switch, the light flashes, so I'm assuming it's not broken.
I received a small CD that has maybe an installation guide on it BUT I can't use it in my CD drive, it's super small.
What should I do?

Hello Sir,

Some external discs works only on the Windows OS or the MAC Os,

Please check the manual if it's compatible with the MAC OS environment

i have the exact same problem and I stupidly inserted the disc and it got stuck so I shook it a bit n it came out but now I dont know what to do?
